If you would like to volunteer call Jennie at 505-658-9022 to sign-up for one of the shifts listed below.  There a numerous ways in which you can help make our Co-op a success! Please read the list below and find some area you would like to participate in.

Volunteers receive a 15% discount for every four hours of time devoted to any of the jobs below.

Cashiering:

Four hour shifts in the store to check out shoppers, receive monies, credit/debit transactions and EBT, assist with customer service and answer questions about the store.
Monday 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Wednesday 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Friday 3:00 pm -7:00 pm 
Saturday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Stocking and Receiving:

Truck deliveries are brought into the store, accounted for and stocked on store shelves or back storage room. Prices are set for new items and old prices are corrected based on invoices.
Thursdays 08:00 am - 11:00 am 

Bulk Bagging:

Weighing, bagging, and pricing bulk items.
Thursdays 10:00 am - 12:00 pm 

Membership and Marketing:

Work with committee members to increase membership and target new marketing strategies. Computer and business skills beneficial. There may be planning for outreach projects at various local functions to build membership. Brainstorming is needed for advertising strategies and ongoing web-based marketing.
Time and days are flexible.

Produce:

Receiving produce at the coop and putting together lettuce bags, and various other tasks related to getting the store ready for the sales day.
Wednesday - 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm
Friday - 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm
Saturday - 8:30 am to 10:30 am

Cleaning Store:

Weekly cleaning duties include sweeping and mopping, cleaning counters and bathrooms and emptying trash cans. Supplies furnished.
Thursday - 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Facilities:

Assisting with store projects that need attention: carpentry, painting, plumbing, outdoor areas, assembling shelving as needed, etc.
Any time other than when store is open.
