Baked Apples

2 apples, sliced*
1/2 c. almonds*
1/2 cup raisins, unsulphured*
1/3 cup maple syrup*
1/2 cup water
Mix all ingredients together and bake in a casserole dish or pie pan at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
Editor’s Note: A simple and delicious way to eat your apples. I find if I cover the pan with aluminum foil it bakes faster and keeps the apples juicy.  Also I use the slivered almonds instead of the whole. Delicious served with yogurt.
